Mental illness and mental disorders have always impacted families for hundreds of years. Yet, it has only been within the recent couple of decades that mental illness has been accepted as an illness with many people standing up to help or admit they have been impacted by a mental condition. It is ok, to not be ok - as we find ways and discover beauty that can help us move forward.
